Grapes:
Tebbiano Toscano, Vermentino Bianco, Malvasia del Chianti are the wines produced by the selected white grapes cultivated in the vineyard.
Vineyards Technical Information:
  • Vineyards are on hills facing south-east.
  • Average altitude: 200 mts (660 ft) a.s.l.
  • Soil composed of a particular kind of clay called "castagnina" (chestnut).
  • Method of cultivation "filare a capovolto" (to overturn).
Winemaking method:
  • Grapes are hand picked for best selection.
  • Traditional winemaking and fermentation is done in typical wooden tubs.
  • The wine is later transferred to Tuscan oak barrels.
  • One month later, an additional hand picking of grapes is done. A process known as "governo toscano", which is a selection of aged grapes to produce a concentrated grape juice rich in flavors, color and alcohol.
Tasting notes:
A wine that is light yellow in color and presents itself to the palate as dry, but with pleasant and elegant harmony. Scent of broom and flint characterize this wine
